Hi there. Thank you for putting your proposal forward for consideration. Although the grant request is modest, I am unaware of the ROI to the DAO. Google offers a simple translate tool, which ensures that knowledge can be gleaned by users from all geographies. Are you able to quantify the audience size that would read and learn about CoW Protocol? Please be specific, as generalized market sizes does not equal views.

Hey netrunner.eth,

Quantifying the ROI for the DAO is indeed challenging as it depends on numerous factors beyond my control. I could try to convince you that I’ll be among the first Spanish media outlets to cover CoW Protocol and that, given the quality of the product, more content creators are likely to follow suit. However, I won’t deceive you. I don’t know for sure, nor can I guarantee it.

What I can tell you is that Google Translate is a handy tool, though ChatGPT might be even better. But you wouldn’t be publishing it in a Spanish medium like my Crypto101 newsletter.

Crypto101 reaches around 8,000 subscribers weekly, with an average read rate of 35% to 40%. My content is highly specific, tailored to an intelligent audience seeking education.

Unfortunately, I can’t quantify the impact on the DAO, and I won’t attempt to deceive anyone about that.

What I will say, as Alex can confirm, is that the content I’ve already written (I provided the links in my initial post) is already scheduled. The outcome of my request doesn’t change that.

My initial intention was to receive some form of compensation for those articles, but I realized I could be more useful if you provide me with content, and I distribute it to the Spanish audience.

And I probably will, regardless of the outcome here. It’s now up to you whether to support me financially or not. My cards are on the table.

Best regards,

Thanks for your reply @Jota. Perhaps you can tee up with @hertzov. He is a writer/contributor for the DAO and is seeking a grant currently. There may be some synergies there you can explore.

Hey, many thanks.

In two days the first article will be published.

As promised.

Many thanks for reading.
