Grant Category:
Develop monitoring infrastructure for solver competition and MEV Blocker
Grant Description:
The goal of this grant is to improve the monitoring infrastructure around CoW Protocol and MEV Blocker, as well as use data analysis approaches to better understand the solver competition on CoW Protocol and study how well it has aligned so far with the core values of CoW DAO.
Grant Goals and Impact:
I will devote at least 16 weeks to improving and refining the monitoring tools of the solver competition and MEV Blocker.
I shall provide the Services to CoW DAO from March 25th to July 12th.
Milestone 1
Develop software for monitoring some of the key components of the products the team is developing, namely the solver competition and MEV Blocker.
Milestone 2
Using data analysis tools, I will get a better understanding of the behavior of the external parties (solvers for CoW Protocol, builders for MEV Blocker) involved in some of the main products that the solver team is maintaining in order to check how aligned the behavior of these parties is with the goals and vision of the protocol. Concretely, defining the right metrics to measure and track key aspects of the solver competition will be a central component of this second milestone.
Funding Request:
