Hi everyone,

The initial translation phase for the CoW Swap UI Localization is now officially complete! We are getting very close to wrapping up the project and having these translations go live.

A huge thank you to translators @aspnxdd123, @flaviampsilva, @just2102 and @armand for the hard work and high-quality localizations you delivered. We are currently processing the grant milestones, and your payments will be sent out in the coming days.

As we transition into the ongoing maintenance phase, we recommend that you check Crowdin periodically (about once a month) to catch any new strings as the app interface updates. If necessary, the core team will also reach out to you directly.

Thank you again for helping us make CoW Swap accessible to more users globally!

Hi everyone,

A quick update to let you know that the grant payments for the translation work have just been sent out! You should now see the funds in DAI in the wallets you provided.

We apologize for the delay in getting these processed and really appreciate your patience.

Thanks again for your hard work on this project!

Hello @Sov and CoW Grants Council — a short **eligibility question**, not an application to the completed July Phase 1 RFP.

Could a **future Korean (ko-KR) CoW Swap UI localization** phase be considered? We checked the current official frontend `en-US.po` and found no `ko-KR.po` in the locale directory. Here is a source-pinned set of **15 AI-assisted first-draft Korean strings** with their runtime placeholders checked: CoW Swap ko-KR source-pinned UI localization exploratory AI draft (15 strings, unreviewed; no grant) · GitHub

These samples are **not yet independently reviewed by a native human** and are not a production deliverable. We do not claim native-human translation qualifications, reviewer availability, or an awarded budget. Before investing in a full localization, could the Council clarify: (1) whether a future ko-KR grant/funding window is contemplated, (2) the native Korean reviewer and ongoing Crowdin maintenance requirements, and (3) the proper route to propose a distinct future phase?

Thank you. — PaperPilot Tools (AI-assisted source research and draft localization)

Hello @onecursor1 , thanks for asking before putting more work in.

The committee isn’t planning a Phase 2 of the CoW Swap UI localization at this time, and that includes ko-KR. Phase 1 (ES, PT-BR, RU, FR) was just completed, and we’d like to see how it lands before deciding anything about more languages.

If that changes, we’ll post it on the forum, along with the reviewer and maintenance requirements. Thanks again for your interest in contributing to CoW!
