Hi everyone,
I’ve been following KPK’s treasury reporting and the way allocations are managed across venues such as Aave, Morpho and Compound.
We’re currently building Proof & Signal, an independent DeFi lending-market risk intelligence layer. The core idea is simple: APY alone is not enough to understand whether a lending market is attractive or fragile.
Instead of ranking markets by yield, we separate the analysis into several risk dimensions:
-
protocol risk
-
liquidity and utilization pressure
-
oracle risk
-
asset and stablecoin risk
-
chain / settlement risk
-
market-specific parameters and constraints
Every result is tied back to source evidence, timestamps and a data-quality gate, rather than being presented as an unexplained score.
Our first live report covers Aave Ethereum / USDC, and we have also started calibration work across multiple Aave and Morpho markets. Compound and Spark are part of the next validation layer.
The question I’d be especially interested in discussing with treasury managers, allocators and risk teams here is:
Would an independent market-level risk layer like this be useful inside a real treasury allocation or review workflow?
For example, would it be useful to compare:
Aave USDC vs Morpho USDC vs Compound USDC
not only by APY, but also by liquidity conditions, utilization pressure, oracle structure, collateral exposure, caps and other market-specific risk factors?
A second question is what format would actually be useful in practice:
-
one-off market reports
-
cross-market comparisons
-
recurring monitoring / alerts
-
structured data / API
-
something else entirely
We are deliberately keeping this in an early validation stage rather than assuming we already know the right product.
The goal is not to provide personalized allocation advice or tell a treasury where to deploy funds. The goal is to make the underlying market risk evidence easier to inspect, compare and review independently.
I’d be very interested in feedback from anyone involved in treasury management, DeFi lending, vault curation or protocol risk.
If useful, I can also share the structure of the first Aave/USDC report and the methodology we are currently testing.
