Short Pitch (TL;DR):

Long time builder, Ethereum community member, and contributor to key projects in the space. I have a strong pulse on ecosystem developments and aim to bring this experience to help grow the CoWswap ecosystem.

Expertise and Experience:

From Buildoooor to Investoooor

  • My crypto journey began in 2016 while living in China (working for an AdTech startup). There, I founded Crypto China - a WeChat community that grew into China’s largest crypto group during the 2017 bull run and remains active today.
  • I then built a startup at the intersection of crypto and communities, taking the ethical path of not pursuing an ICO and ultimately returning funds to investors when we decided to wind down.
  • In 2019, I joined DAOstack to develop dHack, a DAO framework for hackathons that we successfully implemented at major events including ETHBerlin, ETHIndia, ETHwaterloo II (2019), and ETHDenver (2020). When we tried to adapt it for online events, we found the magic didn’t translate.
  • Currently, I’m at Collider, Tel Aviv’s leading crypto venture fund, where I led our investment in CoWswap and remain actively involved.

Involvement in the CoW Ecosystem:

Been in touch with the Cowswap team since the spinout and an avid twitter supporter since day one. This includes several blog posts and tweet threads, as well as fire creating fire memes

Motivation:

My core motivation to becoming a delegate is to support the growth of Cowswap and assist the ‘outward facing’ decision making processes. Whether it’s ecosystem support programs, external growth mechanisms, or general community interactions.

Conflict of Interest:

I’m a partner at Collider which invested in the CowSwap spinout. I also hold personal tokens.

  • would you include your Snapshot statement there? It’s the ultimate truth before someone decides to delegate :slight_smile: Can also be a link to this post.

Note that currently Snapshot’s delegation page only show delegates that have at least one delegation (while they’re updating their features eventually, you might want a hack around this and delegate to that address).

If you’d like to be considered a “recognized” delegate, a recognition awarded by a Grants committee member, would you please link your application in this thread with a statement along the lines of “I would like to be considered a recognized delegate and commit to active participation in CoW DAO’s governance”

Next steps on our end would be more publicity around the program, which we’re aiming for in January. Excited to take CoW DAO’s governance to the next level!
