External Contribution Proposal: Isolated Parallel E2E Testing for CoW Services

We’re evaluating issue #4894 as a possible external contribution from the ILE Labs team.

Before preparing a benchmark or implementation, could the maintainers confirm:

  1. whether external contributors are welcome to work on the E2E test-isolation problem;
  2. whether this work is separate from the funded Playground project; and
  3. whether a minimal benchmark measuring current serial runtime and shared DB/Anvil interference would be a useful first step?

We’ll wait for confirmation on scope and ownership before starting implementation.

We wouldn’t fund this, and if it lands as help wanted the repo’s own reward program covers it.
