We are excited to share our [_Monthly Report on the CoW DAO Treasury for August 2023_](https://reports.karpatkey.com/?dao=4&month=8&year=2023)!

## August Highlights

- Migrated Balancer pools affected by the detected [_vulnerability_](https://forum.cow.fi/t/balancer-vulnerability-report-and-actions-taken/1886). No funds were lost.
- Staked ETH in Lido to hold stETH exposure.
- Diversified the LST positions by depositing funds in the rETH/WETH pool on Balancer and staking the associated LP tokens in Aura.
- Deposited DAI in the DSR module in MakerDAO through Spark.

## Results

The Treasury activities allowed for approximately $25K in farming results for August. We were able to mitigate risk and capture opportunities by diversifying the portfolio.
